Who We Help

We provide help to adults with a broad spectrum of intellectual, physical and developmental disabilities.

What We Do

We strive to enhance the lives of our members through socialization, literacy, activities and vocational training.

Our History

Programs for Exceptional People (PEP), is a licensed 501 (c)(3) corporation, was organized in 1995 by six (6) local families.

Learn About Our Mission to Help

We provide a supportive environment where our members learn, work, grow, and engage with others. Our members participate in daily learning activities, receive on-the-job training with experienced vocational instructors and gain valuable social interactions.

Doing More to Take Care of Each Other

No member, regardless of ability, is left without assistance. Each member is provided with continuous training throughout their day program.

Recreation Activities

PEP provides a supportive environment where individuals within our community (referred to as members) read, learn, exercise, work, and engage with peers.

Employment Options

PEP’s programs include work opportunities within the local community for members to learn and develop vocational skills under the instruction of staff vocational instructors.

Daily Activities

Staff and volunteers lead classes for our members that include cooking classes, exercise, reading, music, career prep, science, sign language, crafts and more.
